For agency QA teams

Test a client site's sign-up, password reset, invite and order emails before launch. One project per client, a persona and notes on every address, and the password you signed up with saved right next to it.

For builders shipping fast

Just built an app with Lovable, Replit, Bolt, Cursor or Claude Code? Check that its sign-up, confirmation and magic-link emails really work. It reads the emails sent by Supabase Auth, Firebase, Clerk, Auth0 and the rest. Nothing to configure.

The problem

Testing email flows should not need a shared Gmail.

Shared inboxes collide

Five testers, one Gmail. Codes get used by the wrong person and nobody can tell which email belongs to which test run.

Plus-addressing gets rejected

name+test@gmail.com is blocked or quietly normalised by plenty of sign-up forms, so the flow you are testing is not the one real users hit.

A mail server is a project

Port 25, spam filtering, storage and security patches, just to read a six-digit code.

How it works

From sign-up form to verified in under a minute.

  1. 1

    Create an address

One click gives you a random address on mailclub.dev, or pick your own name. Add a generated test persona if the form needs a name and username.

  2. 2

Use it in the app you are testing

Sign up, request a magic link, reset a password or send an invite. Mail usually lands within seconds.

  3. 3

Copy the code or click the link

The row updates by itself with the service that emailed you and the action from the email, with a countdown for codes. The full message is one click away.

Features

Built for testing, not for reading email.

The home screen is one row per address with the action from its latest email. The full message is there when you need it.

Codes and links, one click

OTP and verification codes with a Copy button and a countdown. Links become one button named for what they do: Activate account, Sign in, Accept invite or Reset password.

Private by design

Every address belongs to your account and only you can read its mail. Isolation is enforced by the database and tested automatically on every release.

Time-bound

Addresses last 1 to 7 days. After that mail is rejected, everything is deleted within the hour, and the name is never issued to anyone else.

Test personas

Generate a fictional first name, last name and a username that passes common sign-up rules, then copy each field or all of them at once.

Saved test passwords

Keep the password you signed up with next to the address. Encrypted, hidden until you reveal it, and every reveal is logged.

Notes and tags

Write down what each address was for, like "youth account on staging", and find it again weeks later by searching notes, tags, personas or services.

Projects per client

Keep each client or app in its own project, tagged with environments such as staging and production. Unlimited on every plan.

A safe inbox view

HTML mail is shown in a locked-down frame with scripts off and tracking images blocked until you allow them. We never open your links; many are single-use.

FAQ

Questions

Is it really free?

Yes. The Free plan includes the whole product for individuals under a fair-use policy: up to 50 new addresses a day, around 500 incoming emails a day, and 5 MB per message. Normal QA work never gets near those limits. No credit card is needed.

Can anyone else read my test emails?

No. Every address belongs to a signed-in account, addresses are random and effectively unguessable, and the database only returns mail for addresses you own. That isolation is checked by automated tests on every release.

How long do addresses and emails last?

You choose 1 to 7 days when you create an address, and can extend it up to 7 days from creation. When it expires, new mail is rejected and the address, its emails and any saved password are deleted within an hour. Expired names are never reused.

Can I send email from an address?

No. Test inboxes are receive-only: nothing is ever sent, replied to or forwarded from them.

Do you click the links in my emails?

Never. Many verification and magic links work only once, so nothing on our side opens or prefetches them. A link opens only when you click it, in a new tab.

What if a site blocks the mailclub.dev domain?

Some sites block domains they consider disposable. The Team plan will let you receive on a domain you own, such as qa.yourcompany.com, which avoids those blocklists.

Can my test scripts or AI agent read the codes?

Not yet. A REST API and an MCP server, so scripts and coding agents can create an address and wait for its code, are planned after the first round of feedback from QA teams.
